Tim Mattran

Tim Mattran (born October 23, 1984 in Chanhassen, Minnesota) is an American football center for the St Louis Rams of the National Football League. He was noted by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free branch in 2008. He acted educational school football at Stanford.

Mattran has in addition been a component of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Hartford Colonials and Oakland Raiders.

Early years

Mattran was lifted in Chanhassen, Minnesota and joined Chaska High School in Chaska, Minnesota.

Tim Mattran in addition joined in the State Science Bowl for two years at Chaska Senior High.
College career

A walk-on at Stanford, Mattran didn’t play as long as his first two seasons. During his third year, even so, he was employed as a retain and, by 2005, was the commencing center.[2] A sombre lower limb damage averted him from playing in 2006, but he returned as a starter in 2007 after the NCAA given him a sixth year of eligibility. He was labelled to the All-Academic Pac 10 assembly four times.

Pre-draft

Minnesota Vikings

Ranked as the 22nd best center potential in the first depart by Scout Magazine Mattran noted with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free branch subsequent the 2009 NFL Draft. He chose Minnesota over the Baltimore Ravens because he desired the likelihood to be close to household and in addition to study from Pro Bowl center Matt Birk.

Tim Mattran was waived by the Vikings as long as terminal slices on August 30. He was re-signed to the team’s rehearse squad the subsequent day, but liberated on September 17.
Jacksonville Jaguars

Mattran was noted to the rehearse squad of the Jacksonville Jaguars after the assembly liberated fullback Chris Brown. He paid out the terminal five weeks of 2008 time of the year as a component of the Jaguars rehearse squad.
St Louis Rams

Mattran was noted by the St Louis Rams on March 16, 2009.
Oakland Raiders

Mattran was noted to the Oakland Raiders rehearse squad on December 18, 2009.
Hartford Colonials

Tim Mattran was prepared a first copy by the Hartford Colonials in the 2010 UFL Draft.
