Steven Jackson
Steven Rashad Jackson (born July 22, 1983) is an American football running rear for the St Louis Rams of the National Football League. He was typed via the Rams 24th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oregon State.
Early years
Steven Jackson was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a running rear for Eldorado High School. He was dubbed the Sunrise Regional MVP and hurried for 6,396 yards and 81 touchdowns for the Sundevils. Jackson’s Eldorado squad no where in the say final his senior year to Chris Carr (currently of the Baltimore Ravens) and his perennial powerhouse McQueen High School (Reno, Nevada).

Professional career
2004 NFL draft
Jackson was typed 24th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft via the St Louis Rams. The Rams exchanged picks with the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals to obtain Jackson. Denver sold Deltha O’Neal to Cincinnati for their first around pick. Then, St. Louis sold upward to Cincinnati’s selection to grasp Jackson whereas the Bengals chose Chris Perry to displace the departed Corey Dillon, whoever was sold to the New England Patriots.
