The St. Louis Rams are a professional American football team based in St. Louis, Missouri. It was established in 1936. They are currently members of the Western Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. The team has won three NFL Championships, including one Super Bowl. The Rams began playing in 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. During that time, it was named Cleveland Rams. Then the team became known as the Los Angeles Rams after the club moved to Los Angeles, California in 1946. Later, the club moved east to St. Louis prior to the 1995 season. From that time, the team has kept St. Louis Rams as its team name until now.
